Sunday Greetings!

Hi All,

I wanted to share some cards that I previously made but have not shared on the blog yet. The first card is from the Paper Challenge that I issued to Tiffany and Marisa and myself. We had to use a 6x6 inch piece of paisly paper. I actually was able to get 3 cards made from this one piece. Anyway, here is my card.
You can find Marisa's card here and once Tiffany complete's her card, I'm sure she will add to her blog.

The next set of cards are ones that my daughter and I made to send as Thank Yous for the gifts she received for her communion. Since we had to make plenty of these, I opted for 3x6 cards because I could get 4 from a sheet of 12x12 paper. This was also a good card for us to make because I got to use many of those 3-d flowers that I had in my stash... Another QVC purchase from a year or two ago that I had to have :-)

That's it for now, as I'm off to do some Sunday shopping!

Oh Baby!!!

Someone at work asked me to make some Baby Shower invitations for them and so I came up with 3 options...
This 1st card was cute and traditional...
Card #2 - a little more non-traditional, but also very cute
Card #3 - Was cute and girly and THE WINNER!...

Luckily card #3 was the easiest to construct, so making 50 of these babies won't be too time consuming. Hope you enjoy!!

Metal Baby!

I'm finally busting out the Making Memories Metallic stickers I purchased from Archivers (had to have immediately) about a month ago. My goal was to see how many cards or projects I could make from the package of letters. So far I've made 3 cards and I still have quite a few letters left. I don't know if I'll have enough to spell out words completely, so I'm going to have to be creative... check back for that.

Anywhoooooo onto the cards..... Nothing really fancy since the letters themselves are the focal point, but nonetheless here they are:

Have a great weekend!

One sheet Wonder-ful!

Tomorrow is my good friend's 41st Birthday (yeah, that's you Nilda!)...
She's not a big stamper or scrapbooker, but she loves handmade cards. So for her big day, I made her a paper tote filled with cards so she can use them whenever she needs them.

The entire tote was made by using 1 12x12 sheet of heavy pattern paper (cardstock weight). This particular paper was from my My Mind's Eye collection. The tote itself was made using 8 1/2 x 11 and the middle panels and star embellishments were made from the remainder pieces. Both sides of the tote look identical so there really is not a front or a back - it just looks more professional this way.... Well, I hope she enjoys it!

The pattern for this tote is super simple - email or leave me a post if you want me to send to you.

Supplies:
Pattern Cardstock: My Mind's Eye
Ribbon: Stampin' Up
Stamps: Flourishes,Text Background, & Mega Mixed Messages (PTI)
Other: Star Punch

SU May Class *********

I'm going to try and squeeze a Stamp Camp in May because my customers have been asking me to do so for the last month! However, with tax season and Nicole's communion, and rest time, I hadn't been able to plan one. However, I think I can squeeze one in at the end of this month or latest first week of June.
I have two different ideas for the class.. the first one is a rub-on class, still in development, but the other is a class using the Fifth Avenue Floral #113734 stamp set..

Here are the cards I think will make for the class - maybe 1 more using the embossing folder with the manhattan flower?? What do you think?

All supplies Stampin' Up with the exception of the white CS which is Neenah.

Back to Scrapbooking!

Okay, lately I've been creating a lot of cards and not scrapbooking much lately. However, this week, I really wanted to focus on the craft that really got me into papercrafting - that is scrapbooking... I love how creating these pages makes me remember the memories and it makes me proud how I showcased the precious pictures of my family...
Here are a few pages I made this week...

Another Paper Challenge

Here it goes again... another 12x12 paper challenge... I had a 1/2 sheet of this MME cardstock left and wanted to "use" it for cards... I made 8 cards (4 of each) total with this 6x12 sheet.

Another Paper Challenge

I love Saturdays! I have absolutely no obligations today - I slept in this morning, after a long night of crafting with Nicole so I feel good. The house is relatively clean, and I actually have some groceries in the fridge!

Last night Nicole and I took a trip to Archivers, surprisingly I walked out of there with only a few small things in hand... I really only went there for a ribbon iron because I purchased the QVC Ribbon special the other day and the ribbon came in small packets that created wrinkles in the ribbon.

I couldn't pass this up - 12o yards of ribbon (1 yard of 120 kinds) for $19.97 at their anniversary price. I believe now it is back to $29.97 (still a good deal). Although I already have a ton of ribbon, I thought both my daughter and I could use this ribbon and I wouldn't have to hoard it.

I may have also purchased these from QVC. :-)

So anyway, Nicole picked up some gorgeous turquoise pattern paper to make me a basket and a flower pot and she gave me the scraps and challenged me to use them in a project.

These are her projects, isn't she talented!

These are the two cards I came up with...

Okay, off to lay on the couch and watch some tube since it's kind of chilly and gloomy out today. Have a Great Day!!

It's Monday...

The start of another week...

My DD made her Holy Communion this weekend and we made these little treat holders to give to the guests... but with all the excitement we forgot to give them out - can you freakin believe this! All that time... Anyway, I thought they deserved a post since we did spend so much time on them.

Here is a simple card that I made based off of a sketch from Nichole Heady (PTI). It came together very quickly which is a plus.

My friend Tiffany also nominated me for the Lemonade Stand award. I am always amazed by her creations and she's a pretty cool chick to hang out with.

Thanks Tiff!
