MFT Weekly Challenge -9/26

Hello All,

Here is this week's challenge sketch from MFT:

And here is my version of the challenge:
I just received my most recent order from MFT and I purchased the Beautiful Baby stamp set, so I felt the need to use it on this sketch challenge.

I love the colors and think this will be a card I can create with different stamps for different occasions.
Enjoy!

MFT Weekly Challenge - Post #2

Hello All,

I am posting an all SU version of the MFT weekly sketch challenge.  I think the layout is great and conducive to any stamp set/paper stash.  I used the Ghoulish Greetings and Freaky Friends stamp and the Motley Monsters DSP all by SU.

Again, here is the sketch:

And here is my rendition of the sketch using all SU products:

I'm about to SNAP!

I'm about to SNAP!
At least that is what the stamp says!  I really liked this week's MFT challenge layout.

MFT Weekly Challenge

Here is the sketch:

I used MFT Picture This stamp set and all MFT cardstock Fuse Green, Blu Raspberry, & Primative White.  I also used some contraband from Stampin up! like the inks, ribbon and twine. I also found a scrap of pattern paper on my messy desk, that just happened to match, so I used it on this card.  Overall, I think the card came out pretty nice.

Here is my version...

Enjoy!

Do Something That Makes You Happy

Hello,

I'm so excited to show you this picture frame art that I made with my stamping supplies.  I used 1 sheet of Patterned paper (I honestly don't remember the brand, but I think either Studio Calico or Pink Paisley) a few rub ons, and some small punches and glitter paper.  Anyway, I wanted something pretty and inspiring to mount somewhere in my craft room and so I came up with this awesome project.

It was so quick and easy to make and the results were amazing...

Everytime I see it, it makes me smile!

Enjoy.

Now and Forever *

Friday!  Yes!

I am off work today to attend my cousin's wedding.  Of course I have to make them a card, but I did not get a chance to do it last night so I had to come up with something quick this morning.  I looked through my stash and thought I would use some of my old Making Memories rub-ons along with an SU punch to make this quick, but very cute wedding card.  Also, since I'm sure the happy couple will be getting many cards with images of brides and grooms, cakes, hearts, etc... I thought I would create one that is less cliché.

Have a great weekend!

Ghoulish Greetings Wednesday

Happy Hump Day!

Over the weekend I made a card for the MFT Weekly Stamp Club Challenge.  I really liked the layout so I made a Stampin Up version of the card using two of the new holiday stamp sets (Freaky Friends #135158 & Ghoulish Greetings #136664).

I also used the new designer series paper Motley Monsters #135819 - I love this paper, it is so cute for halloween & little boy pages/cards.

Okay, here you go... I'm off to work now...

MFT Weekly Stamp Club Challenge

Hello All,

Today I am posting a card that I made for the MFT Sketch Challenge.  I haven't participated in one for a while, but I decided to enter the challenge this week.  I really like the colors on this card and can see repeating this card in the future.

Supplies:  MFT Watercolor Backdrop & Art Expressions Text Stamps, MFT Paintbrush die set, Stampin UP ink & cardstock.

Check back on my blog on Wednesday and I will post another version of this card using all SU materials.

Have a great week!

Oldie but Goodie

Hello,

I love this retired paper from SU - Kaleidoscope.  When it came out, I purchased several packs for a stamp camp that I hosted and since I had about a half of pack left, I thought I would make some cards to give away as gifts from the remainder.  I paired the paper up with a current stamp set - which is really my favorite (Fabulous Four #134174) and I really like how these came out.  This could be a very masculine card if you use masculine colors as I did in one of the samples below.

I am on a mission to use all of my patterned paper that has retired. Truthfully, it's been kind of hard since I really love all the new stuff, but I figure I can make the same style of cards with different PP to use with gift card packs.

Here they go...

Enjoy.
