I love, love, love this stamp set! It is the B-O-M-B! (okay, not that serious, but I do love it). I'm getting together with my friends tomorrow for some scrappin fun and I'm so excited.... It's been a very busy tax season for me, so I am SO ready to have a little fun!
Here is a card I made a few days ago...

Almost Friday!!!
Today I actually had a little time to make a couple of cards with my daughter (9). Like me, she loves anything crafts - especially paper, stamps, and other such goodies. Since we were spending a little crafting time together, I thought I would enter Kristina Werner's Color Challenge #43 with two cards from the color scheme identified below.
This card has no stamping, but I love how it came togehter so quickly and so "funk-a-licious". The PP, CS, and Rub-Ons are all SU! the flowers and the tag are older supplies that I had.
On this card, I used my Sizzix die-cut cupcake set from SU! as well as my new texture plates. Another card with minimal stamping, but it was fun and also very quick to make. All supplies are SU!
Although my daughter did not want to use Kristina's colors, this is the card she made and wanted me to post it on my blog for her. These are her words... "I made this card out of inspiration of my best friend and I. She ROCKS! - shout out to Angela Morales!"

Old & New
Made this card with the "Art of Life" stamp set by Stampin Up! and PaperTrey Ink's "Friends til the End" stamp sets. Since the card is Nature based, I figured it wouldn't be a bad idea to combine the two sets of images.

Papertrey Goodies II
Guilty - I ordered a few more items when they released their Feb stamps... Flowers aren't usually my thing, but I really liked this set from PaperTrey Ink called "Friends Til The End". I took inspiration from their gallery site but changed it slightly to make it my own.

B&White Challenge II
This is the second card I made for a swap I signed up for from SplitCoastStampers. The challenge was to create a more formal, elgant card using black/gray/white/cream... The first image of the flowers does not include the bling on the first and third flower, I added those later (in the second pic).
I really like the simple elegance of this card and hope you like too!
All materials used were miscellaneous companies... tootles!

B&White Challenge
This is the card I was going to submit for the Kristina Werner's color challenge this week, but I took a little too much time to think about it, so I missed the deadline... Anywhooooo... wanted you to see the card that I was going to submit.

V-Day Treats
Last Night my DD and I created these treat packs for her 3rd grade class. They were super easy to make and since I have like 5 million sheets of cardstock, we had plenty of Red Patterned Paper on hand to choose from. Hope you enjoy!

Papertrey Goodies
Today I received my first order from PaperTrey Ink. I always wanted to order their PolkaDot Basics stamp set, but felt a little guilty cheating on SU!. However, it appears I got over it! This is what I ordered... I had to open my goodies up right away, so this is a cute simple card I made today...
Cardstock, Ribbon, and PolkaDot Stamp from PaperTreyInk. Felt flower, and Sentiment from Stampin Up!

About Time Right?
I know it's been a while since my last post, but I am an Accountant and Tax Season is pretty busy for me... in addition to the fact I am taking a class right now, and have a family - whew... However, creating crafts is a bit of a release for me, so every now and then between Jan-April, I have to get away to stamp a little!
These are shower invitations I am making for someone at work.. They asked me to make 60 by Monday (yes today is Wed) so I had to come up with cards that were both cute and quick... well what do ya think? Also, I got to bust out the cute stamp set from Stampin Up that I never even cut out (peek-a-boo).
Later peeps, I'll try to post more often during tax season.. Peace!
